Multiple games for the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League (NLSHL) have been cancelled this weekend because of weather and power outages.

Friday’s and Saturday’s match-ups between the Blades and the CeeBees were cancelled because of a combination of weather and power outages.

Saturday’s game between the Western Royals and Gander Flyers were cancelled because of power outages being experienced in Deer Lake.  It is unknown yet if Sunday’s match-up will take place.

The weekend games were also cancelled between the league leading Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts and second place Clarenville Caribous.

All games are expected to be rescheduled at a later date.
