Caribous Defeat Blades

The Clarenville Caribous pulled to within 3-points of the first place Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts by defeated the Mount Pearl Blades 6-3. The Caribous took advantage of their scoring chances and scored four of their six goals in the first period, taking a 4-1 lead to the dressing room after 20 minutes.

Mount Pearl made it a game as they closed to within 2 goals by the third period. With the score 5-3, Ryan Desrosiers scored his second goal of the night to give the Caribous the 6-3 victory.

The Clarenville squad had a few new players in the lineup after making trades for Chad Earle and acquiring defenseman Tim Greene in the draft last month.
