After 20 minutes of play, both teams were scoreless. However, goals by Duffy and Dalton of the CeeBees put them up 2-0. The Gander Flyers closed the gap when the Flyers Brazil streaked in on a breakway ans scored to beat Kennedy.

The CeeBees broke the game wide open when it scored four goals. Quinn picked up a goal and before the period had finished, they had goals by Duffy, Feehan and Bragg to make the score 6-1.

With the win, the Flyers fall to the basement of the Newfoundland Senior Hockey League while the CeeBee Stars move up to 5th place.  With the recent moves made by the Eastlink team it looks as though this organization has turned a corner and are once again being looked at as contenders.
