Re: Caps Vs Bous (Feb 8th)

Did Caps have everyone there? They did last night in Hr. Grace. I know CeeBees are one of the weaker teams this year but Caps looked really strong last night. Did everyone find those posts confusing. Appreciate the up dates but maybe tomorrow someone will enlighten us. Should not complain because I...

Re: Lichtenwald

Eli traded for Jordy Escott, but Escott is playing for Caps for rest of this season. So what you’re saying is that the Cee Bees have a acquired a very good player for when they intend to start paying players again. Cee Bees will be a power house next season. Next Year??? High hopes when this year n...

Re: Breakers Vs Bous (Updates)

Pretty bland reporting, but thanks anyway. Were u the only one in the stadium? A little more detail would help to perk a little interest. Don't seem to be much interest anyway. I had other plans but was hoping I could swing it. Maybe next time.

Don’t sound like much of a game pretty high score
It wasn't a good game. Very sloppy and boring. No checking from either side except for Pender and he got punished with 4 minutes.. Smith very impressive, by far the best defenceman

Re: Eagles and Caribous

Just one more nail in the coffin. Attendance is at an all time low and this will just hasten the end. Its quite clear teams in town don;t want to play outside....not even to Carbonear.. As I said before the horse has left the barn now close the door and forget it. I really feel sorry for Ivan who ha...

Still not over that I see. Man move on you’re worse that a Dallas Star fan. The Cee Bees have every right to raise a banner and hold their heads high. Of course it was a conversional goal, but that’s life get over it and move on.
Naw more fun this way... gotta rattle the fence at times... lol

Re: CeeBees- Eagles

Guess they will raise the Herder banner on the home opener. The cops will be there to arrest them for stealing it in Clarenville. Would think they would be ashamed.

Will Fans Show Up

Back in Sept. I posted that senior hockey was dead here on the island. Every year we go through the same pains. The hockey gods have 6 months or more to prepare for the up-coming season, but when the season is supposed to begin its then they hold their meetings and start bickering. Fans have been dr...

Re: HNL meetings?

Goliath [HNL] has finally slain David. Senior hockey outside St. Johns is dead, dead, dead. If they are given CPR its just a short fix. Then they will bury it for another 20 years. Fans are tired of the same things year after year and thrown in the towel.

Re: Team of the Decade

In reference to pick-ups for the Allan Cup. I was in Red Deer when the Bous competed. Noticing that quite a few locals were cheering for the Bous. AS one lady said "my son that General team is not the team that played all year. They have picked up players from everywhere and the most of the locals a...
