Re: WILL THERE BE SENIOR HOCKEY IN CENTRAL 2019-2020

Heard the Ceebees are trying to get back in but that won't happened & Mount Pearl is trying again to get a team on the go The east has changed and there has been a shift in the dynamic that controls things.has changed so I have hope the CeeBees will be part of the league. . . Re: Team of the Decade

Here's a question for you Hockey eyes and I don't know the answer, but i'd like to have it explained to me by you and only you. How did some of the players from the Torbay Eagles ended up with the S.S. Breakers this season? not looking for sarcasm, just a good explanation. I saw that " trade" and I...

Re: Reaction on HockeyTalk to Cataracts Win

There was something sad about it all. It was a good series but the Breakers had to win ONE of the games in St. John's and they didn't and that was their own fault .The Cataracts , which are a paid team, were exposed in the series. We know better who they are. They are a good team but their players a...

Re: Breakers VS Cats Game 3

Cadigan started warning a shiied after his mouth was cut pretty badly in a " scrum". I think Mike Druken was involved. It wasn't a fight. It was pushing and shoving. Cadigan had fingers inside his mouth and it was kind of ripped. As you know he is a member of the Constabulary and he missed some work...

Re: Breakers VS Cats Game 3

The Breakers HAVE to make the Cats skate all night. The games I saw in St. John's the Breakers essentially beat themselves plus got a couple of bad breaks. If it were me , and it ain't , I would play dump and chase . Throw it in the corner and make the Cataracts skate after it . Skating is the stren...

Re: It's hockey talk folkes!!!!

Just to talk a bit of hockey ikf anyone's interested. The Breakers had to bring their best game to the table to beat the Cats and they didn't. The Cataracts are a good team ...big and strong and they have good goal tending. The thing that stuck out for me in game one was the Breakers spent too much ...

Re: Who's Who

If you compile a list of the five top supporters of senior hockey in Newfoundland the name Ivan Hapgood would be on it. In fact it would be at or near the top. His comments were just a defense of the bogus notion that anyone involved in hockey is getting something for nothing. Hockey is kept alive b...

Not in my plans Stadium Fries... Just too far for a game. Conception Bay is kind of my travel for hockey universe. I don;t even go " down the shore" to Mobile because the road sucks ..
