Parity can only come about if all teams put the interest and health of the league ahead of themselves.
The issue with senior hockey in NL pretty much summed up in one sentence.

Re: Flyers@Bous Game 4

I’ve heard the words come directly out of AJ’s mouth. The Stars and Cats has an agreement that if and when the Stars join a league again, that the Cats must release him back to CBN. Of course there is an agreement, anybody who thinks different is kidding themselves. The Ceebees have the cash and co...

Perhaps that’s part of the reason league interest started to decline.
That's a very interesting point. Parity certainly makes for a healthy league and I think does impact fan interest.

Re: Since 2001

Just looking at the list of Herder winners and since 2006 only 3 teams have won the championship.

Cats, Caribous, and Ceebees. That is a long run without someone other than the big 3 winning

Re: Flyers@Bous Game 4

I did hear an interesting thing when I was out in Cville on the weekend, not sure what's to it. Does the 3 strengthening players that the east are gonna be allowed to pick up have to come from the 4 teams? Heard that the Ceebees have given the go ahead for A.J to be one of those 3 players. I though...

Re: Bous Vs Flyers (Finals Game#1)

Not a bad game. Flyers looked really rusty in the first. Manuel made a couple of nice saves early but the Flyers still were down by 2. With less than 5 seconds left to go in the ist the Flyers scored to make it 2-1, big goal. The second was pretty much all Flyers and late in the period the fans got...

Re: Who's in and Who's out

Do anyone Honestly think that Mr Gary White would not of added Whiffen last year if he had of been eliminated and avaliable, rather than young Jenkins ? Another name that comes to mind a few years back, the minute he was eliminated he was added as an Emergency backup, Graham Cook. By the way the be...

Re: Who's in and Who's out

How Flyer fans cry when the shoe is on the other foot. Every team would take the best that's avaliable at that time. I've watched Sr Hockey for 50yrs. I believe Roger Kennedy Sr played on 5 different Herder teams and most as a replacement. On another note, I though it was Brier Time but it seems Li...
