Re: Breakers Vs Bous (Game#2)

Watched the last game played in Gander and there was not many fans there so like I said fan support is poor all over I guess you didn’t watch the game last S...

Re: Caps/eagles refuse to play games in central
Eagles players as well as all the east teams were told they would be compensated 100$ for making the trip. That is why they agreed to go at the start of the season. HNL told the team a week before the game that money was no longer on the table so the team decided not to lose a weekend on a bus only ...

Re: Northeast Eagles banned from herder 2019
Word around the jack byrne arena is Eagles did not make the trip to central this weekend as they did not want another easy win against grand falls like last year so they could stay in last place too pick first overall in the upcoming draft. In all seriousness I don't think the 2-9 eagles team will ...

Caps/eagles refuse to play games in central
It’s amazing how a couple of people can really put the screws to senior hockey in this province. The caps and the eagles had no intentions of coming to central this season even after telling HNL that they would. So what’s the big deal about playing the cats and flyers in their own barns ? The execut...

Re: Southern shore breakers
Lionsden I can’t believe we are going to agree on another topic !!! Lol lol but yes a huge kudos to the southern shore breakers for coming out to central this weekend. The first two periods of Saturday nights game was some of the best hockey I have seen here in a couple of years. Fast lots of hittin...

But hearing there weren't 'homers' is a new one for me. Only place I have seen more biased refs is Twillingate. I think all the Orange Survival Suits intimidate them.

Re: Flyers Vs Cats ( Sat Night Updates)
I’ll have to agree with ya there A1V. Hynes is a great guy who happens to be very competitive and loves to win. But to say his attitude is the **** and berate him like some on here have then obviously they know nothing of the guy! If you don’t know what your talking about by first hand experience th...

Re: CATS ROLLING OUT THEIR ROSTER
Interesting thing about the draft. Did Short have to he released when he signed a standard ECHL contract to play with the Growlers? He wasn't an emergency replacement player like AJ. Does it have anything to do with it being considered pro hockey and therefore they didn't have to release him? Great...

Re: Cats vs Flyers Who's in, Who's out
The flyers have lost their captain Mitch Oake, Scott Doody, Ryan Matheson, Alex Powell, Brad Power and Drew Manual from their lineup this season. 2 great D men who can’t be replaced or very hard to replace. Mitch Oake played a lot of mins and was a solid centerman who was great on the draw. Scott Do...
