Re: No Herder?? Or Is There?

I see on NTV News a report that says Grand Falls says it is entitled to play for the Herder because east teams refused to come out o play them. They would be team without a league who never played a single game or stepped on the ice ...... going to the final .Amazing ... Lol...That's a bit much. I ...

Re: Playoff Format

They had to do it this way when they had to reduce the regular season schedule from 20 games to 15 games because of the debacle back in October/November with with the Flyers and Cats. Still some interesting races happening, second place is still up for grabs and 4th place still up for grabs. Right ...

Re: Playoff Format

Horrible decision to have all teams making the playoffs. It was a joke when the central league did it and it's a joke now that the east league is doing it. Geography has a lot to do with that and population
It does for sure. Players and teams out of the East league don't want to travel either.

4 days away and I haven't heard a word on the Flyers roster, goalie, coach, etc.
Flyers aren't doing themselves any favors by not releasing any info...

Re: Breakers Vs Bous (Updates)

I notice the east league plays with a couple of lines quite often, no backup goalies at times.

I'd be shocked if there wasn't an announcement of a schedule in the next day or two. I'm hearing there will definitely be hockey in Central this month
Were you shocked when you didn't hear an announcement?

Re: Is there going to be any Hockey in Central?

Do the Cats still hold their bingo at the Joe? Maybe that's what they meant. Hearing some Cats players will be suiting up in the East league very soon. I think that would be the best thing for them to do . Release the players to play with other teams so they can get a game and make a few bucks on t...

Re: Sun, Jan 5th - Game Cancelled due to Impending Weather

Good call with the incoming weather imo. Also if the Bous are lucky they will get a Saturday night game, always better attendance on Saturday night.
