Re: Cats @ SS Breakers Herder Final Game 1
Whiffen and "mark" yetman are both getting paid. Pat Yetman and AJ Whiffen are getting paid by the Cataracts though. Seeing as how attendance was down this year in the Central West, how did the Cats afford all the high priced talent? Did the town council of GFW give them another hand out?...

Re: Cats @ SS Breakers Herder Final Game 1
That was actually a very very sloppy game from the Cats. Do not expect any future games to be that easy Breakers fans. Also for hockey eyes to say we got great goaltending, we must have been at very different games. I thought whiffen looked off tonight. Look for Whiffen to be sharper from here on e...

Whiffen and Yetman are certainly earning their 1300 a game in the Herder plus their all expense paid trip down south if they win.
Whiffen and "mark" yetman are both getting paid.

Mosher not really a kid. wealth of experience pro in echl, and europe. played with downer from caps in AAA midget around same time as aj. Mosher was by far the better goalie at that time, spent a bunch of years in Q and acadia. You don't get invited to detroits main camp as a goalie being a scrub

Re: Where is the New League ?
The Newfoundland Growlers will be looking for a couple of players for " spot" duty for their home games. These are players that wouldn't be part of the road show. No player with full time employment would want to go that route. The Baby Leafs did that... Not from what im hearing. Spot dut...

Re: Where is the New League ?
Your gonna see a lot more then a cup of tea. The Growlkers have said they are actively recruiting top players in NL senior. I would be some of themgive it a go. Especially the guys with no career and living on the Hockey money.

Re: Where is the New League ?
Look for NL born players Jordan Escott, Justin Pender, Brandon Hynes AJ Whiffen and Ryan Desrosier ( if he wants) to be at the Growlers training camp. ECHL has a salary cap of $12,400 a week, meaning the average player salary is roughly $550 a week. These players are used to getting more than that ...

Re: Interlocking Games
Word at the rink is that the team is being retooled now with otherr players being sought with James Cadigan in a management role at least short term. He apprently has a knee injury. Some of the old Eagles appear to be coming back including Chris Sparkes. The people around the team 50/50 etc have ch...
