Re: Bussy & Paul

It's beyond time for HNL to get control of this mess. Teams are breaking rules all over the place with no apparent consequences. Everybody just seems to be doing whatever they damn well please with no regard for the rules. Senior Hockey had passed being a joke to being a total disgrace and embarrass...

Re: State of Flux!!!

The longer this gets dragged out the more convinced I become that there will be interlocking hockey involving both the Cats and Flyers. The east keeps posting schedules and then revising/delaying them because they don't actually have a league to play in without agreeing to some interlocking games. W...

Re: The Puck Drops at 7.30

Hang on a sec here. Let's think this through. Didn't HNL say they wouldn't certify the east Coast League unless there was some agreement on interlocking games with the teams in central? Now we get an announcement that the east coast teams are starting their schedule shortly. Therefore they must have...

Re: DEAL STRUCK WITH CEEBEES THERE WILL BE HOCKEY

What s stupid comment. The Cataracts didn't "buy" any Herders and Flyers didn't even win any. You do realize there's been a draft in the CWSHL for about three past decade to prevent teams from "buying" players right? In fact a number of key players in the Cataracts lineup were drafted AFTER other te...

Re: Breaking: No Senior Hockey this Winter

I'm going to assume nothing is definite until the teams make an official announcement themselves. Last statement from Cats and Flyers day their still working on it.

Re: Breaking: No Senior Hockey this Winter

I strongly doubt HNL will allow the west coast B league to play for the Herder especially when there are at least three Senior A teams interested in competing. HNL wants a true provincial championship. It's obviously late but I don't think this is over yet. This might be a case of stay tuned.

Re: Breaking: No Senior Hockey this Winter

Because Ceebees wanted to play in ECSHL but weren't permitted. ECSHL wanted a situation where they could register as Senior A but but only play amongst themselves and prevent anyone else from competing for the Herder. HNL said no to that cozy little arrangement. Now that HNL's correct decision had b...

Re: Breaking: No Senior Hockey this Winter

So now the Cats, Flyers and Ceebees are free to form a new league seeing how all three teams want to play and invite any teams from the now defunct East league to join them of they want to play senior A and legitimately compete for the Herder.

Re: HNL meetings?

FTR there's a huge difference between posting an opinion and making a series of serious allegations. In the meantime, a couple of serious questions though and not just stirring the pot. Who will officiate these scheduled games played in a league that is currently not sanctioned by HNL and how will p...
