Re: Breakers VS Cats Game 3

Re: Cats @ SS Breakers Herder Final Game 2
The Breakers fans are having a hard time understanding that they can’t compete with the big boys, the Cataracts. The Breakers beat teams like Badger, La Scie, Flatrock years ago but those teams were not on the same level at the Cataracts and it shows.

Re: Last Allan Cup for Newfoundland?
If you ever travel out west go watch a game of the wcshl. It is TERRIBLE hockey. Games that are won 12-9 with people who clearly can't play hockey anymore who just fight. I have no idea how they are getting 12 - 1500 fans. I tend to agree and wonder how long this league will last. I love the idea o...

Re: ALLAN CUP
Well team canada won the allan cup but couldn't even make the herder finals. Combine forces from the 2 top teams in the cwshl with pickup that didn't even play in that league was ok but the cee bees were wrong to pick up players from their own league. The nl champs should be able to do good in that...

Re: Allan Cup worth it?
Some very jealous and bitter people here on this board. Who needs enemies with friends like you? I've said it before, in order for our province to compete with the mainland, we need imports. Look at Team Gushue.....two boys are from PEI and Alberta. Look at MUN women's and men's basketball teams.......

I hope so. Let's hope it does and we can continue to compete for the Allan Cup.catfan wrote:Exactly the same as I hear. 2 more teams.123 wrote:Thought the league was expanding by 1 perhaps 2 teams and taking more players from the AESHL to the CWSHL???

Re: Last Allan Cup for Newfoundland?
Just wondering what the thoughts are on the possibility of this being the last time our province will have a chance at the Allan Cup? If the CWSHL folds, and HNL and Paddy have their way of going with just local players, I don't think we will ever be competitive enough to compete with the mainland....

Re: And Thats How Its Done!!!!
The Cataracts are a model organization from its grassroots thru to the present. Great to see them win the prestigious Allan Cup. Maybe the best all time senior hockey organization in the province. 14 Herders and now an Allan Cup, who is better? I know the Royals and Caribous won the Allan Cup but n...
