Imports in the Newfoundland senior hockey league are not classified the same way with Hockey Canada. Imports are 1st time branch to branch transfers. once a player has spent 1 year in that branch, they are no longer am import, as per hockey Canada rules. Yes Hockey lies it certainly did the shoe was on the other foot where we had a mainland coach and a mainland player with the Breakers ,now that's a first .. Also had a team in the east paying their players as well as some other teams , also had a team fly a goaltender in for one game in the playoffs...

Never said anything about why the bous only picked up players from one team but I agree with you when you said that the bous would have picked up players else where if allow ,I think they would have anyway .But they didn’t and a team made up of NL players with the exception of 3 ,not bad hey ,a bun...

Team of the Decade

The Cats have to be one of the most successful teams in a decade in senior hockey .. they have been in the herder six times in thelast nine years.. They have won five herders and a national championship namely the Allan Cup faster than any other team in Nl hockey history . Not to mention the decade ...

There was only one penalty in the entire game. A obvious tripping penalty against the Breakers. Not exactly one sided. Unlike last sunday where the Cats were given 7 minor penalties compared to 2 minor penalties for the shore and you are complaining about refreeing , give it a rest .. stay tuned ..
