Re: Where is the New League ?
April has come and gone and the promised new league in the east...four teams or five teams ... hasn't emerged. I was told that all would be revealed in April . The person who told me is a key organizer in one of the " new teams". It didn't happen. Anyone know what is going on ? You don't ...

I don't think the people from the CWSHL that come on here don't really understand hockey out this way.
Nuff said.

Re: TWO 'CENTRAL' SENIOR TEAMS WANT HOCKEY KEPT ALIVE
Gobreakers' version is more in line with what I've been hearing from other fans and some east players. Nothing personal Hockeyeyes but your post sounds a lot like the party line that was being spewed by the aeshl spokesman at the time the Ceebees were kicked out.

Re: TWO 'CENTRAL' SENIOR TEAMS WANT HOCKEY KEPT ALIVE
Both GFW and Gander want Senior "A" hockey to be kept alive next season - even though Clarenville has publicly stated they do not want to play next season anywhere except east of Clarenville! They no longer want to travel "west" to either GFW or Gander. Neither GFW nor Gander wa...

Re: East Playoffs
A four team league is the scenario that was explained to me but the name of the fourth team was " secret". I take that as meaning there is no fourth team at this stage. I suspect the issue might be economics.... On what do you base that suspicion? Because someone said it's a secret? Maybe...

Re: Playoffs
But i thought it was the longest standing and best league in NL? Might improve next year, asuming most of the guys from this league decide to play. Thats a big if though from what I have been hearing. Alot of retirements planned come April haha Lol...I doubt there are a lot of retirements because t...

Re: Undeniable evidence
Shame Shame on Cee Bee players who damn well knew how the puck went in the net. They should have spoken up. This is like a friend picking up money on the floor , knowing who dropped it. Putting it in his pocket, and others watching it saying nothing. Then all going to the bar to celebrate. Tells a ...

Re: Ceebees pick ups...
Sorry to hear that. A good player taken out by a dirty hit. Maybe the aeshl should make a statement by giving Doug O'Brien a lifetime ban.
