Re: Cats hold your heads high!!
GO BOUS GO - Cats didn't have a full team until the new year. No crying here. Can't win forever. Remember the year Gander got given a # of players to build on a team. Took Cats a # of years to put together a winning format. That is the difference what the league has done for one over the other.

Cats hold your heads high!!
Barring all the injuries that plagued the Cats during the season and playoffs they have done okay. Would like to see them move on but wasn't meant to be. Losing 4 points that were earned from East games. To put it, in a nutshell, all i have to say and most will disagree outside of GFW. is the Catara...

Re: Cataracts honored three former players!!
Far as I know the numbers were worn by ANDCO's players from the 50s and 60s and not Cataracts. Maybe they never had time to get a new jersey tagged for the boys.

On Sunday, February 25th the Cataracts honored three former players. Walt Davis in the builder category while Cecil Thomas and James Bucky Hannaford in the player. Congrats to all three and their families.

Cataracts Donate To The Lionel Kelland Hospice!!
As in the past, the Cataracts continued their community support this past weekend with a donation to the Lionel Kelland Presentation Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor. Mr. Stan Coffin made the presentation on behalf of the Cataracts and the organization to Dr. Jared Butler. One of the top hockey organi...

Re: Attendance
The Joe is 70 years old and has to agree with Tomcod on having the richest history. Always a great grassroots organization what the rest of the leagues both East and West of Central don't have. Fans come to watch win or lose not like some of the other teams as history will tell you.

Re: Bous Vs Flyers (Updates)
You wouldn't know if the Flyers hammered the Cats last night. The empty net goal made it 4-2. Better get out of the foolish thought the Cats are tired and slow. We will see who is slow.

Noah Weir
Unless you were at the game last night or watched it you missed a stellar performance by a rookie to this league who made you stand up and look. Noah Weir was awesome replacing Stone in the second. First game and never allow a goal. What else can you say but brilliant?

What happen to the League!!
To make things short and sweet in my opinion this is what happened. When the Cataracts entered back in the league, they did so on their own accord without big bucks being thrown their way, except when the town helped them out and they repaid every dime. They had the support of the town of Grand Fall...
