Re: Matthew brag and Scott brohpy
I heard that Brophy has also talked to Torbay and that Bragg was leaning towards playing away, whatever that means!!!!!

Re: Ceebees-Mount Pearl headed West? Sportspage
dont expect seeing the two teams from the east goin west next season because two reasons -ceebees stadium there saving for so going east and cost to send players west will affect getting a new stadium . -most players that came east want to be with there familys on the weekends so even if its only a...

Re: Breakers
I said a new stadium is in the works and it is. Not saying next year or the year after but there will be a new stadium in CBN. We would do quite fine out of SW Moores if we were in a provincial league. Fans here don't care if prices are $8, $10, $15....... they will still show up and support their t...

Re: Breakers
To compete in a province wide league you need fan support. Breakers don't get a lot until Playoff time. Money has to be paid and a stadium big enough to house a lot of fans. Stars have a new stadium in the plans and the Glacier is big enough. maybe move the team to Torbay, new stadium ther that nobo...

Re: Draft
250 or 350 tickets. Still missing the point. teams should play out of their home stadiums. All the Aeshl is worried about is how much money the league can make off of the Herder and the team that represents the league. this team has been carrying this league for too long. that's my point. Now Bous f...

Re: Draft
My point is, is that it was much easier for Bous fans to get tickets for our home games than it was was for Stars fans to get tickets at the CEC. The feel of the Mile One centre just isn't the same as playing at your own stadium. the only reason the east home games for the Herder is in St. John's is...

Re: Draft
Well, at Mile One it certainly didn't feel like home ice advantage. there were more Bous fans than Cee Bees fans because tickets were sold on a first come first serve basis. In Clarenville the Cee Bees were alotted about 250tickets in total. thats it So about 1650 wer Bous fans and the rest was us. ...

Re: Draft
I think the reason behind the draft is to create a level playing field to some degree. There are some teams in this league that have more to offer than others so we would see the strong get stronger and the weak get weaker. So for the CB's or the shore to get players they have to give up players. I...
