I thought tucker did quite well with the more experienced and much larger Mitchell...it was a draw in my books...I think Mitchell won't wanna go again as IMO he barely got out of that one...I think Mitchell got surprised...its about time the Mariners showed some toughness, maybe Greg Edgar will drop...

I watched both games in sville this weekend and the games were quite good its a shame that more svillers didn't come out to watch. The teams are far closer than years past which makes for great hockey...hopefully fans outside of port aux basques come out to enjoy it...for some reason there is just not enuf support anywhere else which i find strange as deer lake and sville are both good hockey towns.

With regards to the Jets rumor...I got this info from a Deer Lake coach or executive member not sure which... he told me that earl has been released and wants to sign with the Jets.
oh BTW: the coaches are Mark Lawrence, Neil Keeping and Steve Osmond.
