Cats have signed a local backup goaltender for the games this weekend, I know that much. Not sure how major his injury is, he has been living life as normal from what I have heard and seen, maybe just resting up, but what do I know.

I agree, I just wonder if they'd (the caps) keep up with the speed of the cats (I watch this team all year so using them as example) in a long 5-7 games series or would they get worn out. With the line up the cats have now you have 3 lines coming at you FAST.

wow. HNL actually made a decision that is not completely out to lunch... 3 is better than 6 however I do not think the Caps will need any strengthening players to compete for the Herder should they make it there.

That format would make things interesting for sure but it would be too much sense to do something that may actually benefit the league lol

Thanks. Couldn’t find anything about it anywhere. IMO it doesn’t pay off to finish first then. Risk having 3 weekends off then show up to play a team that just won a series and are probably energized with all line combos used to playing with each other.

Anyone have any idea how the playoff format will look this year?
