catsfan96 I couldn't agree more on van hoof. Solid smart dman. He is amongst the best in this league. Of course folks who haven't watched him will disagree but he is a real pro.

Those 'Home and Home' series can't be easy on the players. I know it's only a few hours drive but still. A few things impact the intensity: the league is fast, so skate and keep up or you are finished. Generally the skilled players can skate and the rougher more physical players can't thus they play...

In each division, 1st place gets a Bye, and 2nd &3rd play a best of 5 series.

We can debate the pros and cons of this until the cows come home, but hopefully this is set so us fans can make plans/etc.
