Re: Langdon's Swan Song?
I have never been a fan of Darren BUT I have to admit he brought that edge to any game he played. When I played back in the Ice age there was a guy just like him very tough on the ice but a real gentleman when not on skates. Darren was a crowd pleaser that will not be replaced for a long time. Yes w...

Re: 3 DOWN....1 TO GO
You know the puck didn't go in the net because some of the "Royal Fans ?" would have been screaming already. I thought the ref did an excellent job, the Royals coach did an excellent job (by keeping the GOON on the bench) This gave them a shot at winning the game. It could have gone either...

Re: The One Fight Rule.
We have all watched some great hockey this week from the Olympics. There is a "no fighting rule" in effect. It makes for great hockey from very talented hockey players. What makes people say it can't work here in Newfoundland. These same players fight under NHL rules but can switch overnig...

Re: No Chris Green, no games on CFCB???
Dale is a great announcer but he better not show any favoritism towards the Bous.
Royal fans will be all over him and will even find some reason to blame him when the lose.

Re: royals confident despite trailing 2-0 SAYS MURPH
Somewhere on this site are the stats for both games. Dyke outplayed Churchill, sure did he had many more shots on him. Kept the Royals in the game. So how can anyone say the Royals should have won when they were outshot and ouplayed. Sorry it was the refs fault. Again check the scoresheet. The royas...

Re: royals confident despite trailing 2-0 SAYS MURPH
Ask yourself why Dyke ouplayed Church. He sure did because he was peppered with shots.
Except for him the score would be much higher. Sorry Murphy bad comment on your part
Its like the chicken and egg story.

Quote from a Bou fan
" Hey Strickland, Put Maxwell on the ice. He is the Bous secret weapon" Funny but true.

Re: Caribous vs. Royals in Semi-Finals
Hint for CB. KEEP MAXWELL ON THE BENCH The last game he was here he started immediately to get Penny, Pearcy and Victor ejected from the game. The second period CB changer their tactics and it made for a good game, but Maxwell had already lost it for them. What a loser this guy is. He can't even sta...

Chris Green
Is this Chris Green for real. He puts his own spin on the game and as an announcer with listeners all over Newfoundland and Canada he is the PITS. Tonight when a Deer Lake player got hit in the place where the sun don't shine he was all over Penny as the culprit. Do you thing for one minute if Penne...
