- What is the shape of a hockey puck?: triangle
Having looked at the tape a dozen times and on a frame by frame basis there is no disputing that there was an error made. I did observe though that the net was raised on the play by Churchill jamming his skate against the post. That isn't illegal and it doesn't change a bad call but from where the ref is positioned I can see how it looked like something to him that could ONLY have been a good goal. It wasn't....but I understand . He saw the puck in the net and from his position the only way it could get there was to cross the line . He didn't see Churchill's kick that lifted the post and the side of the net. Still a bad call but I at least understand it better.,
