The Eagles won over the Southern Shore Breakers over the weekend and the Blues beast the Caps. What does that mean for the playoff picture? Who finished second third and fourth. .... The site is not updated regularly ...

You sure ? I thought it would have been 1st vs 4 and 2 and 3 and the Eagles win on Sunday over the Shore would have vaulted them up into 3rd ...

I have it as all teams played 18 games...

Caps 15-3-0 for 30 points.
Shore 7-6-5 for 19 points.
Blues 7-8-3 for 17 points.
Eagles 7-9-2 for 16 points.

Unless I’m missing something.

Were there points for the interlocking games that were forfeited ?

I see now on the site ...the standings as stated by yourself ... an earlier story though says Eagles and Caps awarded two points after the Cats used a player not signed... I didn't think the points were awarded for interlocking .
Anyway I think the boys in my old Thursday night skate would do better against the Caps then the Eagles .....though ... the game starts at zero-zero.

I don’t think the East points counted. I might be wrong but think it did for the West just not the East. Eagles are in tough. This is the weakest Eagles team since they’ve played as the Sharks up at Fieldians with Noseworthy in net.

From Eagles Twitter...

PLAYOFFS ARE SET! The @nesenioreagles start their playoff run vs the @SRBreakers Friday 8pm at the JBA! Game 2 is set for Sunday 7pm in Mobile.

How in the heck do Eagles get Game 1 at home? Is Joe still in charge?

I also thought the interlocking points didn't count and the league site gave the standings same as you had it. Somehow in second place. must have finished ahead of the Breakers unless there is a rink issue or something .......

How about updating the league website so that people know what the standings are and who will be playing who in the playoffs?

The league executive is useless.

Also, this should be a great series.... for anyone that likes watching shinny with 8 or 9 players dressed for each team. Have either of these teams iced a full line up this year? Can’t speak for the Eagles all year but the Shore have been short every game they’ve played.

This league has been absolute trash this year. Shame on the ECSHL executive.
