Everyone on the island talks about the great Randy pearcey! Hes the best coach, hes the most experienced, etc, etc. Tonight we seen once again his true colors when Brandon Roach cleared the puck over the glass and out of play, and Pennel came in and nailed him after the whistle. A cowardly play by pennel which he was told to do by Pearcey! Its plays like that which put a black mark on the game of hockey! Roach is probably the best player in the league, he also has to go to work on Monday... Randy Pearcey doesnt care, have his useless goon go out and run him after a whistle! Its a sad showing by an experienced coach; but im not shocked! The hockey gods showed how they felt by giving the Ceebees the win! How about Pennel? Every game in the series he has tried to make a show of Druken by challeging him to fight when he knows Druken isnt going to, then tonight after that dirty hit on Roach; Sparkes wants to go and Pennel wont go! What a coward! Blades fans will make excuses but there are none! If he wanted the heavyweight champion Druken in games 1,2 and 3 he wouldnt fear Sparkes, but he did! Take your hat off to the Ceebees, the odds are stacked against them, but this team WILL NOT roll over!

oh man give it up, How do you know Randy told Pennel to go and do that, Did u actually see or hear him say those words?? Cause if you never than you should not come on here and say that randy did it without clear evidence that he actually told him to go after Roach, Randy is not that type of coach

I agree the Hockey Gods rewarded the Ceebee's with the win. Broph a Mt. Pearler, gets the winner. Ironic, or justices for Roach, maybe.
Randy Pearcy is a very good coach and everyone reads a situation wrong but he has made some questional calls which have led directly to goals. Game two he did a line switch in his own end , replaced his forth line and best face off guy.with his 1st line but lesser faceoff man. They lost the draw and got scored on. Game three in Hr. Grace his team scores a huge goal to take the lead 2-1. Instead of changing the troops who were still celebrating and feeling the rush, he leaves them on .....Ceebees tie 24secs later on a weak goal Cardinal Rule: Line scores Big Goal in Big Game, Change.
The Blades have played well and Randy has them prepared but they need to mix more skill with the forecheck.
The Ceebees have won two games without thier top two D. Pearcey and company should figure out how to exploit. Should be a great game tonite. Will the blades make any changes?

A good few examples of how great a coach he is.....or not. He didn't win back to back herders because of his coaching abilities.

to me, randy didnt even make an effort to get pearcey, chaplin, and kenny away from brophy bartlett and crosibe. randy was out coached for sure. ian had the lines matched the way he wanted them in randys own building. way to go boiler!!!!! and way to go cee bees. GO CEE BEES GOOOOOO

No CaribouFan, I dont know for a Fact that Pearcey told Pennel to do it; however, I did notice that when Pennel went to the box, Pearcey didnt go over to talk to him. In the other game played at Mount Pearl, when players such as Lee and Tilley took undiscipline penalties; Pearcey went over to the box to talk to them. Last night the Pennel hit was definetely undiscipline, but Pearcey didnt have anything to say about it? Hmm....thats strange....Roach could be done for the rest of the year because of a hit WAY after the whistle, classless!

What a foolish post, I know for a fact Randy DID NOT tell Kenny Pennell to do that to Brandon Roach. Randy is one of the most respected hockey minds this province has ever seen, and the respect this guy has in the hockey circles in this province is amazing. You're the man Randy, you've done so much for the young hockey players of this province through your hockey schools and programs, and is one of the biggest reasons why we have so many young players leaving this province to play at a higher level.
