Ceebees well be apart of east league come October but with only half of players that where on their roster last season, look to see alot of former Ceebee and blades players in the draft. Where things well get interesting is, a team better talk to a player before they draft him or they might be stuck with a player that doesn't report and altought they might own his rights it well be useless to them.
After talking to the majority of the players that well be entering the draft I know first hand that many of them have a preferred choice and a few that have told me they well only report to one team and it has alot to do with location and conflicting work or school schedules. Going to be interesting.

Simple way to fix this, if you are drafted by a certain team and refuse to play for that team then you are not allowed to play or re enter the draft for an extended period of time. Maybe 2 or 3 years. Drafts are about creating a league that's entertaining and equal, not about where certain players prefer to play. If a player doesn't want to play in Corner Brook (as an example), then they shouldn't be allowed to play anywhere else in the league. They want the cash, they will come or stay home!! Problem solved.

Going to be a very deep draft and teams will have to make sure they pick wisely as this draft could make all the difference between 4 very competitive teams....

I am guessing we will see

Jordan Escott
Mike Dyke
Roger Kennedy
Matt Bragg
Wes Welcher
Doug O'Brien
Ray Dalton
Colin Feehan
Tyler Gale
Brad Yetman
Andrew Hill
Zach Lodge
Mark Tobin
Steve Yetman
Jeremy Nicholas
Mike Stevens
Dane Marshall
Dylan Brake
etc.....

Graduating Jr. players
Danny Wicks
Justin O' Reilly
Brett Shute
Michael Cole
etc....

and maybe a few players from the AESHL
Dylan Sheldon
Cody Squires

I think we will see 5 or 6 rounds and add into that players being dropped by teams to make room for new drafted players. Should be very very very interesting

That's an impressive list. Gander should clearly nab a few good players. However as Sebring said above, certain guys will only go to certain places. This has always been happening. When the Flyers entered the league everyone thought they "passed" on Pearcey. Not the case.

In the last draft, same thing happened to a number of teams. Could be a lot of people changing teams between now and puck drop. Shaping up to be a great winter of entertaining hockey!!!!

For the most part I agree. But what if the Royals drafted a player from St Johns who (for example) worked sat on every second weekend and those working weekends happened to fall on most of the Royals home weekends. This player couldnt play in CB but maybe could play in Gander. Should he be punished by a ban from the league for two or three years?
