Not allowing a team steeped in tradition like the Conception Bay CeeBees to compete in NL senior hockey is like not allowing the St. Lawrence Laurentians to compete in provincial Challenge Cup soccer or not allowing the Shamrocks to compete in provincial senior baseball. Unbelieveable!!! The provincial senior soccer and baseball associations wouldn't allow it to happen. Time for Hockey NL to do the right thing and mandate the Avalon East to accept the CeeBees and the Blades. Denying 50 players and their fans a game of hockey is hardly fostering growth of the sport in the province.
