Wade, I also noticed you get put down quite a bit on the other blog.... well what a COINCIDENCE..
I don't bother to post $hit on the other blog (actually I don't post at all)... because I'm not a troll like you hopping from blog to blog with your BS.
As for the AC... So your US player project didn't work out.... but you tried... and if Bentley could find more AP's that were better than the existing roster don't try and fool anyone they would be going.
FACTS are FACTS and you said that LNAH players could NOT be signed and you were proved wrong. Then they would not be approved by Hockey Canada and you were proved wrong.... you being proven wrong has become a bit of a trend here Mr. Troll.
Allan Cup Talk
After the 2004 Hockey Canada ruling...Quebec sent Amateur teams from 2005 through 2008. Never once did they bring a single player from the LNAH.
They were not allowed to because that league was ruled a PRO league.
Hockey Canada doesn't do the right things. We already knew that because we already knew they allow NFLD to qualify a full year in advance for every Allan Cup...even when hosting. They also allow teams into the tournament despite not playing a single game to get into the tournament and Ive said before...they have sometimes placed stupid, incoherent and cheap rules onto the table which...even the Generals... have taken advantage of.
Select types of folk will hide behind a board room decision and pretend that makes something just.
What I am saying is...it is obviously NOT 'OK'.
The LNAH is supposed to be off limits for Allan Cup teams. For over a decade that's been the ruling.

I don't have to fool anyone.
You do it to yourself.
Your now accusing the Generals of being too good to use affiliate players.
Do you even think when you type those gems?
Your actually winning the argument...for me...by saying that. And you don't even realize it. You actually think you just made a terrific point!
"...Oh...don't kid yourself Waaaaade....the only reason the Gens don't use affiliate players is because.....ummmm....because....they don't have to. Yep."
Hey, NASA Scientist? I
Isnt that the idea? Build your own team that doesn't require help from 10 other teams?
Speaking of trolling...where did you hear Bentley was loading up on Affiliate Players?Catch 22 wrote:Not much chatter on Allan Cup here lately.
Any updates on Caribous/Cataracts rosters? Does either side have updates on injuries, Affiliate Player fill in, etc.
Who's making the trek out from Grand Falls for games? Geo, Zeke, Tomcod, Rick, Evan, Smog???
Apparently Bentley is up 2-0 in their series against the Eagles (No surprise there). I'm also hearing rumors Bentley are loading up on Affiliate Players for the trip to Newfoundland.
Do you have a link or a source or any sort of reason?
Can you post the Gens list of Affiliate Players for the readers to review, Catch22?
Can you show us how many games AP's have played for Bentley, Catch22?
When you say "rumour"...was this an echo in your own little mind or did you actually pick this information up from somewhere else besides your own little mind?
Im only asking because its 100% false.
The Gens filled out their 28 man ALL AMATEUR roster prior to Feb 10th.
They haven't shared their official list of AP's to anyone publically. And they have used on AP...in one game...and given nobody ANY reason to think ANY AP's will play ANY AC games.

Win or lose...Bentley will play with pure players who belong to their team.
