First time ive logged on here in a very long time.
Just one short comment. The reason the Caribous are having some money troubles is simple and its not the trips to the AC. Two things.....first, corporate sponsorship. During the last two seasons this sponsorship has dropped to less then half of what it use to be from about 60 to 65,000 per season to about $30,000. Second thing, for years the Caribous sold around 1100 season passes. During the past three seasons this has dropped to 700. Thats an over all loss of about approximately $100,000 to $110,00. Thats a big chunk of change out of any teams budget. Spending hasnt really changed all that much. This all started when fighting was taken out of the league by HC. The fans will decide if hockey will continue in Clarenville.
Anyway, just thought Id put that out there.......

I think there will be a team come Oct but I guess it will determine how many season passes we sell the year. I wonder how many more teams are unsure about their future???

Yup. No problem with hockey outside the overpass. Let's keep things the way they were so this upcoming season there is the potential for a schedule of 24 games featuring the Royals and Cataracts. Who knows the following season it could be a 24 games schedule of Cataracts hockey and by hockey I mean scrimmages? Great times indeed
