you will never see DL, CB or Stephenville in the CWSHL.. Deer lake and Cornor Brook both stop operations because the cost of imports and running a team to compete with GFW or Clarenville was impossible.. If money can be dealt with in an ideal way then maybe teams will come back to the league but until then you wont see anymore teams.

never say never. Player's are not going to play for nothing every weekend when there are crowds flocking to the games. You can take that to the bank.

I don't believe that Deer Lake or Corner Brook stopped operations because the cost of imports or running a team was to high. I think I remember CB wanting more imports because it was less costly for them to bring in as opposed to locals for the Avalon. I also remember them having some issue with the rental cost of the civic center which forced them to have high ticket costs. I think both teams couldn't keep up financially because of some of the excessive perks they gave to local players.
I think all three centers prove they can support this level of hockey. Stephenville had sold out crowds for some Western and Corner Brook games in the past couple of years. Long term stability is based on community support and responsible management which I think is possible.
I don't believe that the players will continue to play for nothing like last year. Nor do I believe organizers wont start paying players once they have aspirations for the Herder. The crowds wont be sustainable at the level of play that was there last year. But the 6 games plus playoffs have given the organizations a nice financial base to start fresh
