If you are Gander, GFW or Clarenville you have nothing to lose and plenty to gain by agreeing to the Interlocking play. As for the CeeBees, not sure where they stand. Also, the 22-0 comment above is a bit of a stretch. We dont know where certain players will end up, and teams in central without imports are certainly alot weaker. Hopefully this latest "plan" works.

The league only had two imports last year and yes perhaps they might have added a bit more to the teams I don't think that it was all that much .. I guess that the CB's are getting what they asked for . Paying players under the table catches up with them now . By the way I know of a player from Clarenville who was offered money to play for them last year and that came from the player himself ...looks good on them

Those games the West teams will play against the East teams will be nothing short of blowouts. Perhaps the Eagles might give a team a game for a period or two. Hope to God the West win every game by 6 or more goals. Pedal to the metal.

I do not think interlocking games between CWSHL teams and the potential 'new' "metro" four team League will be blow outs at all.
The CeeBees(then in the AESHL) beat the Bous from the CWSHL for the Herder last spring. And, in the 'run-up' AESHL finals playoff every game between the Northeast Eagles and the CeeBees was close - one goal either way and wins could have been losses for either team. The Eagles went down 4 games to 2, but each team was barely a single goal apart in the wins and losses during that series. So, why wouldn't the 'new' east league teams - at least three of them - be competitive with the current version of the CWSHL, whose teams now have no imports. And, remember, with imports last season the Bous lost to the AESHL team that had only narrowly beaten the Eagles to get into that Herder...

Would I be correct in assuming that since all the interlocking games are to be played in the Central rinks that the Central teams are footing all the costs?

The Cee Bees played a great series, but the puck has to go "in" the net, not" under" the net .

... however they DID play a remarkable series .
