That's a good question and you and I expect both know the answer. First if all it " came of age". It was an old team . Secondly there was a very real division on how the team was being run . There was an internal rift that resulted in long time major domo of the club Joe Maynard no longer being
in control . Do you share that view ?

Yes hockey lies we all know your track record on your predictions lol.. Gotta say kudos to Terry Ryan for the way he played at the Joe , he logged a ton of icetime and was a force , no trouble to see that he played in the NHL .. Well HL you should give some of your advice to your HNL Buddies,maybe senior hockey on the east coast wouldn't be in such a mess.. Imports equals fans in the seats , case in point the low attendance in the central league but then again you should be an expert on no fans at the senior level in the east .. Sure we could have paid a couple of imports and put some fans in the JOE insteadof paying the east teams expenses and getting very few fans.. You and your cronnies can have that caliber of hockey and welcome to it , you reap what you sow ... stay tuned ..

Last years Eagles couldn't win their league but they would have beat the Central teams? Ok then.
Dont let the 4-2 score fool ya in terms of how close these 2 teams were. Gander was missing a couple key players, and if not for Bray in net this would have been very ugly. The Caps best player was a 40 year old Terry Ryan. I'm told the Eagles goalie also played well in GFW Sat evening to keep it at 6-1.

Both goalies played well here the weekend. Yetman Saturday for Torbay and Downer on Sunday against the Caps.
