Be interesting to see who's on the ice tonight. The Flyers seem to have kept most of their scoring punch but have lost out big time on defense. No Matheson, no Powell from what I'm hearing. Mosher will be tested
The Cats seem to have maintained there D but have lost a few steps, expect some chippiness from them as they will have trouble handling the Flyers speed.
Cats vs Flyers Who's in, Who's out

According to the flyers site, Mitch Oake and Doug Hardiman isnt playing the year either
Flyers will be weak at the centre position past escott with the loss of doody and oake i don't think they have a true centre man on there roster. They have 5 solid d on there roster but matheson and powell not playing that is two top notch good dman gone its tough to replace them.they should be solid in net but this is a good test for there team tonight.GFW is a small barn on the road and both teams have made changes should be a good one maybe a little rust on both sides.

Safe to say its gonna b an interesting year for us flyers fans lol
I’d say an interesting year for all of senior hockey fans in NL. Will it even make it to the Herder? Games I’ve been to have stunk. Barely enough on each team for a game sure.FlyersFan12 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 1:40 pmSafe to say its gonna b an interesting year for us flyers fans lol

Not expecting any 'short benches' in games between the Cats and Flyers this weekend... our fans in both communities' areas deserve a commitment to ice competitive rosters since when they come out to watch they are spending those ever-diminishing 'discretionary' dollars in these difficult economic times. Normally it takes at least three lines, ( not 12-13 skaters as is happening out 'east' apparently ), for a team to honestly demonstrate they are committed to the fans who pay to watch.

The flyers have lost their captain Mitch Oake, Scott Doody, Ryan Matheson, Alex Powell, Brad Power and Drew Manual from their lineup this season. 2 great D men who can’t be replaced or very hard to replace. Mitch Oake played a lot of mins and was a solid centerman who was great on the draw. Scott Doody was one of the most underrated players in the league. Solid two way player who could drop back and play D when asked. Brad power could put the puck in the net when not injured. Drew manual was a solid backup for the past number of years with gander and grandfalls. Let’s hope to see some of these guys back this season. All the best to the boys in the lineup tonight. Have a great season. Best of luck to all the other teams in the league as well.
