This was a great game today.End to end hockey.

Both Goalies were amazing again today. Cats had a full squad with the exception of Steve Yetman. They outplayed the Flyers today but Mosher was solid. Gander were missing O’Keefe, Day, Shute and Delaney.

Looking forward to seeing a few games with both teams icing full rosters. Should be great hockey.

Both goalies were a delight to watch. Flyers played well considering the missing players. Thumbs up to the young guys who moved back to play D who don't. normally play back there. Did both Fitzgeralds play?

It was nice to see Bussey get tossed around like a rag doll. Never seen a player cry to the refs like he does when he gets roughed up or hit. Leads every hit with both elbows up yet hardly ever gets called for it. His day is coming. Why the Cats continue to dress Hoffe amazes me as well a few Cats fans I was talking to in Saturday night. Hears a rumor in GFW thay Steve Yetman won't be suiting up for the Cats this season, have no idea if this is correct but his time is winding down to get his 6 games in.

I also heard that, and I heard Brennan is finished. The Flyers will also have a new addition next weekend I am told, another "local" guy with some Sr experience. Injuries and work certainly take a toll. Gillard played well, I think he will be a good addition once he gets used to the speed.

I'm not getting into the Hoffe debate, but his best days are certainly behind him. Why you would use Brent up front and have him dressed is clearly for only one reason.

Wondering what will happen this weekend? Will the Breakers and Eagles show up with full squads. Will they show up at all? Never a dull moment in SR Hockey.
