We can just call them 12 games exhibition for now. As stupid as it is to do. Screw it fans willing to go are more than welcome. I’ll continue to travel throughout central watching the intermediate league. $5 and much more entertaining. Good hockey for that price. Plus it’s nice to take in games in community’s such as Triton, Lewisporte and Twilly.

I agree rather pay my 5$ or 10$ to go see hockey that means something. Not interested in watching 12 games of hockey that don’t mean anything lol. What are they going to do play 12 games then play a best of 7 series for the finals lol

Community hockey is great ... I was up to the new arena in CBS Friday night. Of the players listed 14 of them were from Conception Bay. When i was leaving with a minute left a guy was arriving with a five pizza delivery. It wasn't the best hockey in the world but everybody tried hard.It cost be eight bucks to go ... the home team won ... it was money well spent. .

That’s what I’m saying Sniper. I’m going to watch locals for cheaper in old school barns. With the crowd from Twilly hahaha their alone worth the $5 admission.

I gotta laugh at east coasters babbling on about "community hockey". It's easy to do when 70% of the hockey playing population lives within a few minutes of an east coast team. It's like they don't understand anything about demographics or geography. Actually it's pretty obvious they don't.

Good for you. "Slow clap". If others feel different why do you care? You watch want you want. No need to denigrate others though.

And this is different from any other year?
This will 1be 16 years and counting we’ve seen the same 3 teams win the Herder. Yet for example in the 9 team CFL there have been 6 different teams win over the last 7 years. Funny what a bit of parity can do for you league.
Would you rather they play for the Good Deeds Cup so someone else can have a chance at the Herder??

It’s all fluxed to the max!!

Amazing how many childish and negative comments are being tossed around because the cat's and flyers will be playing hockey this year. Way too early for sour grapes.

No, I’m just asking for some parity.
