Why would Corner Brook be allowed 5 imports after combing with Deer Lake plus their population base is big on the west coast and northern pennisula and the Cats be allowed 4? The other 3 teams are allowed three I guess that was because of the population around those areas so maybe that makes sense. I believe all teams shouldn't have any and use local players which sometimes have more passion and skill anyways and reduce each teams costs. Why not if the teams want any to agree on the same number like 1 or 2 so who ever wins the herder won't complain like the cee bees did last year when some fans said if the cats wouldn't allowed the 4 imports they may have won the herder because they were not allowed any imports.

It doesn't matter anyway. IMO imports are not necessary (esp with the new restructuring of the league). The GM that figures this out first is going to save a ton of money. Don't put players on a pedestal just because they are born and bred away from NL.
