Game 3 is over, mariners win 8-2. Reffing was the worst I have ever seen, but on par for what u usually see in stephenville. Canning got thrown out with less than 2 minutes left for attacking thistle, and should have been thrown out before that IMO for tryin to start a fight after the buzzer between the first and second period with tucker. Both goalies played very well, and at least in their part it could have went either way.

Not surprised about the sweep or canning. He's out there just to be a goon and does nothing to benefit his team. Who were the goal scorers? Looking forward to what has the makings of a good series between the express and the mariners.
Are you serious mariners fan? The worse reffing you have ever seen? You were at the games in PAB last weekend right?? I will not get into a debate over the reffing with you so you can respond which ever way you like. As for Canning, he is a team player who picks up for his teammates each and every game. You say he attacked Thistle? Canning dropped his gloves and could have hurt Thistle but because Thistle didn't drop, Canning didn't even throw a punch at him. The correct call was made after the first period as well...2 minutes for unsportsmanlike. The last time I checked a player couldn't get tossed for "tryin to start a fight after the buzzer." That's all I'm going to say about Canning so once again, you can respond however you like. As a Jets fan, I wish the Mariners all the best against the Express and I hope to see them back in Stephenville for the Veitch.

Yes I was at the games in pab last weekend, at least the refs out there know how to call an offside, in stephenville they missed over half of them. I don't think the reffing was one sided, I saw just as many missed calls against the jets as the mariners. There was a little tussle just inside the blue line, with a linesman standing on the line and he completely missed the whole thing..... I think they were all blind!!
no PAB fan can ever, ever, ever comment on officiating.
There's a difference between missing calls like you talked about, everyone knows that the refs are brutal in stephenville, but in PAB they just straight up do not know the rules.

Arguing about refs with opposing teams is pointless. Reffing is a thankless job and mistakes are going to be made. I'm sure both teams hate the reffing in bishops as well. Congrats on the mariners for the win and I can't wait for the finals to start. Bishops will be ready to go with both champion and vaters in the lineup for the first time this year.
