Buddy, the cats are a lot more intimidating goon wise and we were fine with them. There's no doubt we'll be fine now. (quote)
Skipper may I reminds you were only fine with the Cats in the toughness dept beacuse the Cats never used what they had at their disposal. Not to take anything from the Bous win in the last series, they deserved it. But the Cats were definitely under achieves and could have made it ALOT harder for the Bous in the dept than they did. Bous got off real easy there and thats part of the reason why they were successful among others. Just a reminder in case you were forgetting.
Paul vs Jackman
Well i guess paul earned his money the weekend not like the manson ornament the cats had on the bench . and he was not there in period 2and 3 yesterday because he hurt his hand on jackman , he tried to play in the first but had to give up . (quote)
Great point . Thats one of the things I was referring to among others.

He was trying to, but for some reason there was no comunnication from his head.goboosgo wrote:Your right there, Gamberg will go....go get as far away from Paul as he can...and poor Jackman couldn't go anywhere or do anything...Paul holding him with one hand and destroying him with the other...did Jackman even get time to make a fist?breakaway wrote:yes this paul character did his team really well today. keep it up paul.ontheroad wrote:jackman is not in Pauls league just a punching bag for Paul

Well Gilligan, may I remind you that the cats were out checked and out skated. The bous hit and ran. Why stay there and wait to be jumped on by Hoffe and Lewis. Don't tell me that your goons didn't try to hit up on the bous. You can't hit what you can't catch.
Manson should have been played more... O well he is gone to the Armed Forces now....Zekie wrote:Well i guess paul earned his money the weekend not like the manson ornament the cats had on the bench . and he was not there in period 2and 3 yesterday because he hurt his hand on jackman , he tried to play in the first but had to give up . Ok Mr Skelton, are saying that the Cats played as tough as they could have against the Bous??? If so your definitely out to lunch on that one. Our goons didn't act like goons, thats the whole point. Your Bous were definetly faster and thats why, they weren't getting hit the way they should have been. When they saw how the Cats were gonna play this series after game 1, they knew that it was going to benefit their style of play. Its not rocket science. You beat us fair N square, alythough many would beg to differ. But its partly because we went down holding our aces in our hands and never played them.

Coaching was a little late discovering that, duh like the last game. What were they paying Mr Manson for again, I seem to forget?????? A friggin powerhouse of a team that was severly undercoached. Unbeliavable!!!

Got at far as this post.canonball wrote:Tomcod wrote:great to see that the bous fans dont believe in violence..... randy had the game won but still had to send his goon out to rub it in ...... what goes around comes around...........
Tomcod you had better stop and see who had started this .. when the Bous went up by two the CBs started to go after our players that is a fact .. I don`t want to see players like Paul have to come in and take games away from our locals but you can not have the likes of what the CBs tried to do when they knew that the game was gone for them will i think that they got the message .
I havent checked any of the site, this first topic I seen since early Friday, bear with me.
I read in the paper, the recap of the games and Randy was quoted saying "We had the game wrapped up and they sent someone out to do some stickwork", something along those lines so I can believe Paul wasnt out there stirring things up, he was just throwing all the ingredients together and cleaning up.
Anyways, great tussle, Paul hands down.
You can always tell the Newfies in Heaven, they're the ones who still want to go back home!
