Well if Hoffe only had two shifts going into OT then it is not his fault that he took a penalty. I know Brian Casey is smart enough to know not to do that to a player. Anyone that has ever played the game knows that you can't sit a player all game and put him into a close game cold and expect him to perform, that is a terrible coaching decision. If Brian Casey was running the defence on that bench I think he would have made a better decision and if he does run the D I hope he knows he made a terrible decision.

Much better game by the cats, There was a lot of penalty's for both teams, The cats can take some positives from this game and take it into tomorrow's game

The most stupid comment? that is a funny statement. Anyways, like I said, anyone that has played the game knows that you are not supposed to do that to a player. The human body doesn't work that way, his heart rate isn't at the same level of the other players that are in the game which means his reaction time and senses are not operating at the same rate as the other players. It is science, open a book or maybe you should open your mind. You can not sit a player all game then expect him to perform an hour after sitting on a cold bench. You obviously know very little about playing the game and the human body.

I've played the game lots.....and been around it even more!

The things u just said are true. You cant sit a guy just about all game and then just throw him in and expect him to perform. His body isnt ready to play! But you expect that same guy to be smart enough not to take a boarding penalty! The player in question is a repeat offender!

90% of Hoffe's checks can easily be either a boarding or chargeing penalty, guess he forgot that it wasn't his buddy Rice wearing the stripes. Looks good on him, big loss for the Cats.
