Well today is the day the Caps will put this series to bed - I hope the ECSHL trophy is all shined up to be presented tonight. I should be up on the Shore to post updates. I’m predicting a 5-1 Caps win tonight.
Looking forward to the Herder starting next Saturday and how the Caps stack up against the Caribous!

The score will be a lot closer than your prediction. Also it’s not a hard prediction when it’s 50/50 on who will win.

It’s going to be a blow out for the Caps. I can just feel it.
Friday night, at around the 10 minute mark of the third period the Shore shortened their bench and only played their top two lines and the same 3 defeneceman the rest of the way. So those 9 guys played the last 35 minutes, no way those top players will be able to get up for a game six with their backs against the wall. The Shore went for the W Friday night and it back fired on them, look to see them get blown out tonight.

Three things, if you are hockey player and you can't get up for a game, regardless if it's game 6 or 600, you shouldn't be playing hockey.
Secondly, You stated they went for the W friday night. As opposed to doing what? Trying to lose? If they tried to lose and won, would that mean that backfired also?
Lastly, you indicated the Shore played their top two lines and 3 D in the last ten minutes. Not sure what hockey you've been watching since your eyes were able to focus, but in a tie game, in game 5 of the finals, what would your solution be? Roll all 4 lines and hope for the best?
Great logic you have there, you should be on Sportsnets panel with the other know it alls.

Hey Chester leave the hockey talk to people who know something. I predicted the Caps to win this series all along and here we are 20 minutes from seeing that happen. The Shore are very lucky it’s only 4-2, the Caps have been dominating this game ever since the Shore went up 2-0, another blown two goal lead! Just like the Leafs! See you all in Clarenville next Saturday!
