Farce....two is plenty..but to add 25% of what a Central teams roster consists of.

I think this is go in to motivated the Cataracts to work even harder. I still believe if all are healthy and available, the cataracts will win is 5 or 6. Experience will be in their favour.

Let's hope I'm right, either way I think this is going to be one of the best Herder finals I recent year.

No one can do wants to see the Cats buy another Herder.

That's a couple of times you've mentioned "buying" the Herder. How does one do that?

So in addition to being able to add four players are the Breakers going to be allowed to dress 20 and the Cataracts only 18 (the CWSHL rule)? Actually I don't think the Cataracts will be able to dress even 18. No names but I heard at least two players won't be available.

They did. I was asking if this was going to be the rule for the Herder as well or if there would be some pretense of leveling the playing field for the championship. Otherwise the teams are playing under two sets of rules favoring the Breakers. They can add players AND dress two more each game.

The 16 skaters thing is a choice the CWSHL made so they could pay their top players more.

Isn’t the Hockey Canada rule 18 skaters and two goalies? I feel that’s the rule they will play by.

Ok. I really don't know the answer. I haven't seen it addressed. Could be a somewhat moot point though as O think the Cataracts will have trouble dressing even 18 this weekend. Tough to get many players in central. Lots of travel and time commitment.

The hockey Canada rule is 18 skaters plus 2 tenders. The CWSHL dropped to 16 skaters to help with finances, not sure if the top players received more money because of it tho but who knows
