It’s just simply the Southern Shore Arena. Although it doesn’t hold as many as the rink in Torbay on paper, it would've held both crowds from this past weekend easily. Unfortunately, money peeks it’s head up and the ECSHL Champions games were awarded down in TorbayOh just a fan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 4:09 pmYou could be right about the fans tho, The Shore usually do well. I think they were hoping for more fans. I assume the Jack Byrne holds more than the one in Mobile right?AEfan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 3:49 pmNot sure I agree with the more fans logic but it definitely comes down to the money side of things, unfortunately.Oh just a fan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 3:02 pmHNL's call. To better word it, they didn't want to go to Mobile either and wanted more fans/more money. HNL is greedy basically.
What's the actual name of that rink btw? Is it just Mobile Stadium? I've never known that, I've been there just too, just don't know the name.

Now you know how the Cats fans felt when HNL forced the Cats to play the Herder out of Corner Brook and Clarenville out of Mile One a few years back. HNL could care less about the teams fans that support their teams all year long. Imagine how you would of felt this weekend if you had to drive 3 hours to watch your team play their HOME games and pay for hotel rooms and meals. Perhaps now you will understand why we continue to boo these folks when they walk out on our ice surface.AEfan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 6:01 pmIt’s just simply the Southern Shore Arena. People are saying control rebounds to turn around the series. I can assure you, it will take more than a few rebounds to stop Cats. They know the bounces at Joe. Not easy winning in the Historic Joe Byrne Arena. Just my opinion!!
