What is the shape of a hockey puck?: triangle

in the case of sr hockey silence is not golden .
attempts by sr coun to get the Cee Bees back into the east has not been successful ( great for them to try , says that see whats good for the game )
Mt Pearl has withdrawn their application . the east set up will genneraly remain the same if NE Eagles can get players intrested .
interlocking my very well be dead . cats and flyers with no one to play which is really a shame as those communities love and support their hockey .
last min plans after september meetings will again put teams and fans behind the 8 ball .
jr hockey still alive and strong and will capture some of those fans wanting to take in a game .
AAA Midget seems to be in a groweth stage and shold be strong this season which can give some smaller communities a game to watch .

Thanks for the information . The NE Eagles need Joe Maynard back. He is one of those people who can get things done.
The problem with the CeeBees getting back is the nature of the perceived offence. Forgewt about slipping players a few dollars or getting someone a trip at the end of the season ... it is PERCEIVED that the CeeBees were not being forthright with the gate. It doesn't matter if it is true or not . Those that run hockey have a chip on their shoulder with the CeeBees. That plus the fact that Mount Pearl and the CeeBees figured they could prosper outside the east. The east survived and now have Clarenville and a nice CBS operation. Memories however are long. That's what I think anyway but ...what do I know....

I still think we will see a provincial senior hockey league with Corner Brook and Deer Lake making one team.

There's an agenda item this weekend for Senior Council to look at "where we go from here". interesting to see what happens. Reps from all 3 leagues are supposed to participate. Who knows. Most seasons I have my tickets and Sponsorship paid by now :-(
