The Caribous Facebook page says they open against the CBS Blues and have their home opener the following night in Clarenville. I'll be at the Blues game.... I love it when the Bous come to town ..

Actually the two team league had some excellent hockey. If ur trying to say that the East league that for the most part did not show their faces in Central saved our league then that would be debatable.HockeyFan29 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 9:22 pmIf that’s so explain to me how a two team league would have worked for GFW and Gander last season?
From the conversations that I have had the Caribous are not invited in the provincial league as they are now contented in that beer can league even though that when no one else wanted them they were quite happy to join the Central West league years ago.
It will be interesting should the Cee Bees, Flyers Cats and a team or two from the West form a provincial league. Especially when the provincial league competes for the Herder and the East gets left out again.
Time will tell.
Same ****, different year. Can’t get an answer about anything. Love to see a schedule of Caribous are offering up info on their FB page. Where the heck is Ivan? We know he reads the board. He sworn to secrecy too?!?

Where are the players coming from for a five team ECSHL, however many the teams the West will have (3-4?) and a potential 4 team provincial league?
The Cee Bees weren’t interested in a provincial league last year due to a lot of their players not wanting to travel. I highly that has changed since last year and I highly doubt the Cee Bees would commit to a provincial league without a very strong roster.
This “provincial league” sounds like a pipe dream made up by some Cataracts executives/fans. Have fun with that two team league you have there.
