It was a good game for forty minutes but the Blues skated away from them in the third. Young legs prevailed but the Caribous had their chances in the first two periods. The Blues played smart once they got up by a couple. No hurry ...put the puck deep and come back . They skate like the wind and seem to be able to do it all night. That's the team I remember from last year. I wouldn't want to meet them in the playoffs. Pender and Dyke and Earle and the Reids didn't intimidate them.
it was a good game for the league ...two teams playing hard ...a few hundred fans in attendance Lots of people in the bar ....Defensive for half the game then the teams opened up .....
I didn't win the fifty/fifty for the 800th time. I saw Ivan at the game and Joe Maynard having a chat.
All the bills got paid and everybody had a good time ......
