A lot of effort went into this league and nobody can walk right up, and shut down AAA Semi-Pro Hockey here on the rock .

We have the best league right across Canada, and we have a standard to maintain .

... right across the whole country .

hnl sees western senior hockey as a Boyle on their collective arses that needs to be lanced. The biggest losers here are of course us longtime fans of competitive hockey who will end up with no games to watch thanks to the entity that is supposed to protect the game. Once it's over you will get the people like paddy daly looking down there noses and saying "it's all your fault " if you could be like us you would be great"
Isn't that exactly how the Flyers, Caribous, Royals and Cats treated the Blades/CeeBees and their fans?

What did the CB`s do when the bous wanted to join the ECSHl a few years back ?.. They got their game out west , the 3 teams opened up and gave them a game then, not the East

Why don't we the West not play for the Herder, have an extra long playoff with great hockey. Next year form a new league, new association and still register with hockey canada. If the East can pick up 7 players so should the West if are governed by the same set of rules. As far as i am concerned who ever win the West wins the top prize.

I'm pretty sure I read in the Packet at the time that the CeeBees was the only team that actually supported the Caribous's bid to enter the AESHL.

We will be watered down next year big time rusty .

HNL/AESHL will destroy AAA semi-pro hockey here on the rock .

To Ziggy.......Management from the CeeBees said the same thing to the Caribous brass.......but others told us that nobody supported the idea. I never really figured out what to believe other then that Joe and Kenny were certainly against it!

I was told by a number of CB executive at the time that they were supporting the Caribous bid. I know every CB fan that I spoke to were looking forward to the possibility of seeing the Caribous return to SW Moores.

I have no doubt that Joe and Kenny didn't vote for you, just as they didn't vote for the CB's when they first tried to get in the AESHL, after the Avalon West league folded. The reason given was that it was too far for the other teams to travel to Harbour Grace. Anyways that's all water under the bridge now.
