Rule 617 | Goals and Assists
(Note) It is the responsibility of the Referee to award goals and assists strictly in accordance with the provisions of this rule and his decision shall be final. In case of an obvious error in awarding a goal or an assist, corrections should be made promptly and no changes can be made to the official scoresheet once it has been signed by the Referee.

I would be the smartest move I've seen from HNL in years. Despite Ceebees now having an overwhelming advantage it allows them to save face and ride a revival of interest in local SR hockey.superfan wrote:dakota wrote:Getting word now hnl has change the series from 3 out of 5 to 4-7...game 6 Friday night in harbour grace
Makes good sense hope it goes ahead .

I'm going to say no..once a goal is called a goal...and the puck is dropped you can't go back...you can't protest this type of thing...that's my knowledge of it.dakota wrote:Heard game is under protest...what could that mean and is there anything that can be done...lionsden what do u think, you are involved and seem to know your stuff, can this protest go anywhere or is it just a waste of time?
