The Kelly Ford Gander Flyers are very excited to announce the signing of defenseman and Gander’s own Thomas Hedges.
Hedges was acquired by the Flyers as a Territorial Pick.
A former product of the Central Ice Pak Major Midget program, Hedges has played the last 3 seasons with the Woodstock Slammers in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League.
In 3 seasons with the Slammers he played 116 games, scored 25 points, and collected 276 penalty minutes. Last season Thomas was the team’s assistant captain.
In 2016 Hedges played on Team Canada at the World Junior Ball Hockey Championships in
Sheffield, England.
