As you all know nobody discusses injuries in the Playoffs. Ian Sullivan (SS GM) contacted me about Pender the day after they won. Pender was having therapy all through the playoffs and informed me he would decide after his weekly treatments were over on Thursday past. At that time his therapist didn't feel he should play, at which time the Shore GM was notified. His reason for not playing is injury related . As for Bous players not playing because of non pay, Pender was the only one asked, and you have the reason. Here's to a Great Herder. IMO 2 Great Teams and Organizations.

I knew there was something wrong with Pender, He didn't play like himself, I am surprised they never ask Kevin Reid

As we all know the east players dont get payed of course. Isnt that the reason the cee bees got ejected from the league for paying players or was it. Do i have to say anymore .I think we all know the old boys league lol. Joke of the the nfld senior hockey league players dont get paid. I guess you can say that when its good for your cause at the time lol lol .

Paying players was not " the tipping point" for the CeeBees and everyone in hockey knows it.
It may even keep them out next year ... but I hope not.

Next year the cats and flyers should do what the other teams are doing. Just deny paying anyone. There would be no proof, just rumors and you can't go on that.
