The two games between the Cats and Flyers for this weekend have been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Games scheduled to go ahead next weekend.

Pathetic when minor hockey associations are forced to reschedule tournaments to accomodate this bull****.

What a ****. Imagine starting a season in the middle on February. There’s people in the Central Rec league who are done already and they’re two weeks away from starting. Joke.
Unforeseen circumstances..... you mean no players

I agree. Gander does not have enough players to ice a team and ice time has been taken away from other users. Shame on the Cats and Flyers management and shame on the Towns recreation
departments for changing ice times from previous booked tournaments. Shut it down, it is done, it is over. It was a good run but no more ticket lineups for me.

Yes shame on the Cats. They are not ready. How many players did they require this weekend from the GFW Blades to play. You can’t shut down another league that has played all season and are now ready to start their playoffs to have a 12 game series. Nothing more than bullies.

What a total bunch of cod swallup. The Cataracts were indeed ready to play this weekend. Nobody asked for another league to shut down. Coming here to demean people who have worked so hard to try to keep hockey alive in central. HNL wants the Cats and Flyers to play. The Flyers have been telling the Cats they want to play. Cataracts agreed to play and were ready to play. Nobody is bullying anyone.Stadium Fries wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 5:44 pmYes shame on the Cats. They are not ready. They're just working tirelessly to keep the game alive here with no personal benefit. Shame on you!

No shame here I know the Cats had 5 blade players in their lineup this weekend.Seniorfan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 10:24 amWhat a total bunch of cod swallup. I know that someone within the Cats won't say who wanted the Central league to play their playoffs games in a condensed series so that they could have these players.
So no they were no more prepared than Gander.
