Cats@ Bous Game 1 Updates
Great game tonight. Awesome display of goaltending by both Jewer and Churchill. They both played awesome!!! Both teams worked really hard. I have to say a big Congratulations to Ryan Penney. Smartest game he played since he became a Bous. Very discipline and that is what we need from him. In the first ten the cats tried to get him to go a number of times and Penney skated away from in and stuck to playing hockey. Way to go Penney. The Bous defense must be exhausted. They started the game without Hill ( how come he is not playing anyways ) Then Kavanagh and Victor got tossed early. Big game tonight from Earle and Picco to step up. Chapman logged a ton of ice time tonight. This guy gets better every game. Kenny played good on defense also, I seen he got hurt at the end how is he? Can't wait for tomorrow!!!

Kavy hit seemed clean to me, I did not see the Spear by Victor, I must have missed it, Good news is they will both be back for tomorrow's game, Our D was a little tired as we had 2 d man gone for most of the game but we played well for having 2 d man out of the gamecatsfan4 wrote:Sounded like a great game.. What happened with Victor and Kavanagh? Did they deserve to get game misconducts?..

Didn't see the spear by Victor so have no comment on that.
Sure didn't look like a charge by Kavanaugh. He skated in to check the Cats player who went down like a ton of bricks. Kavy saw #24 coming after him so he dropped the gloves but the two of them landed in a heap instead. Didn't look like either even threw a punch. Don't think the penalties he got were deserved at all.
Was great to see Penney playing a very disciplined game.
Don't know who the ref was but he sure didn't do a good game FOR EITHER TEAM.
Who is #22 on the Cats? Wasn't a good screen for Churchill at all.

Ok. Who's #24?
BTW, neither Lapointe nor Hoffe were much of a presence tonight.
Just watched the video of the first period and didn't see a spear by Victor. BUT, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. He and one of the Cats players were getting penalties and headed to the penalty box. Still yapping at each other with one of the linesmen holding onto Victor. They were both facing towards the penalty box so I couldn't see if the "spear" happened then. That was the only time that the stick wasn't visible to me.
