The field is finally set and the five teams that will battle it out for the title of Atlantic Canada Major Midget Champions are prepared and ready to go. This is the last stop before the TELUS Cup for these teams, and will be the final meaningful hockey games this season for four of them.

The St. John’s Maple Leafs will act as the host team, while the St. John’s Pennecon Privateers will join them as the Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador (HNL) representatives, by making it to the Provincial final, where they swept the Leafs in four straight games.

The Cornwall Thunder will represent Prince Edward Island, while the Moncton Flyers will be New Brunswick’s representative. Last, but not least, the defending Atlantic Champion Halifax Titans will join the fray, after disposing of Dartmouth in six games in the Nova Scotia final.
