Victor giving out questionable hits, is worse than hacks and slashes. Sure hacks and slashes are bad, but as are hits, when you slash someone you may hurt their hands or legs, may even break one. You hit someone dirty and then we got broken necks, backs, and concussions. So don't think Victor is a saint. Gosse is the biggest dirtbag, I've seen in this league, Maybe the other Langer was and even Rice. What about Frenchy from CB suckering someone with a cast? A lot has went on over the years that were worse than what Darren is at. Still not saying that slashing someone like Darren is known for is legit either.

Langdon came to the WCSHL after his time in the NHL...and blocked every rink in played in! Yes,he was a fighter in the show and that's his game...Every team had to adjust to the Red Wings for that reason...
*Corner Brook brought in Richard Paul, Roger Maxwell and Nick Policelli
Grand Fall addressed their rough housing with Triston Manson and Roberto Bissonnette
Caribous applied the services of Darrell Jerrett and David Victor
Red Wings had the other Langdon...
What I am trying to say here is...those guys were brought in to go up against the Langdon toughness...it's either you like or ya don't...I might not agree with everything he does on the ice but I would love to have him on my team! Did I like Richard Paul when he had the Royals and the Cats colors? NO! But when he was a Caribou,he was welcomed with open arms! Just the way it is!

goboosgo wrote:"Oh Yea Who Live in Glass Houses Should Not Cast Stones". I find it quite ironic that most, if not all, that are bashing Mr. Langdon for his on ice activities have no issue with the hack and slash specialist with the Cats, and that being none other than # 44. If there was a rating for dirtbags in this league, he would be verrrrry close to the top.
Agree wholeheartedly. The matter of the fact is Darren may be a goon yes, he's passionate about the sport and still has a drive to win. Whatever, yes he does some stupid crap but all player do. To say Hoffe is an angel compared to darren is just plain wrong. If you're on here bashing Langdon and saying if you support his play style you're not a hockey fan and then turn around and cheer Hoffes actions. That makes you a hypocrite. Hoffe & Darren are the same player.

Choose to cheer for both or none.

Hi Tomcod, I am Stadium Fries, You think Langdon is a smart player, I hate him, worst player in the league for dirt.
To you goboosgo, I am Stadium Fries and not Tomcod, the only thing we have in common is that we are Cats fans. Victor is now the dirtiest player in this league, 98 penalty minutes this year.
Hoffe and Lewis did not come close to his type of play this year and yes Victor is a member of the Caribous and your fans think your team is cleanest team in the league. Look at the Stats.
You should worry about Friday night and your slow aged dirty team.

Fries if you and Tomcod are not one and the same, you must sit across from each other at the home cause you both say the same thing; and Tomcod the only assuming here is you assuming nobody knows you and Fries are twins. As for penalty minutes, a lot of Victor's are reputation penalties cause there are refs in the east who
may know the rules but when it comes to calling what they see they are clueless and I'm sure the same exist in the west.

Goboosgo, the same is in respect to Hoffe giving a solid clean check, the ref hears the sound looks over and see #44 and assumes he gave a dirty check, the difference is that your Victor has 98 minutes the highest in the league.
Please stop talking about the east and the west we were one league only this year till they divided into two for awards. Never once on the NLSHL site did I see any mention of the east and the west division.
Cats were in first, Bous were in second and so on. If there was two divisions it should have been on that site all winter. It was to stop a complete win of all awards to the Cats. Bous win for a fourth place point getter. LOL what a joke. Everyone in hockey here hates the Cats and have done everything possible to see them lose.
I hear you have problems right now in Clarenville with coyotes, wait till the Cats move in. We might even bring a few sirens and air horns into the CEC, Oh my, what would it be like to hear some noise in the CEC.
Go Cats Go !!!! and GO Blades Go on Friday!!!!!!

I forgot goboogo. The fact that you think that myself and Tomcod are twins is a honour to me
as I think Tomcod makes some great comments on this site.
But let me assure you we are not related, we just cheer for the best team and are the best fans in this league.
Sorry Tomcod....stay tuned. Lol
That will confuse those boo woo fans for sure. Which really don't take a lot. Lol

Victor's hits are not questionable, Look at Mr. Hoffe
